Note on Friction and Tools

A short note on the difference between productive friction and pointless technical drag.

Some friction is useful. It slows you down just enough to make you choose deliberately.

Some friction is just a tax. It burns time, muddies intent, and makes future work feel heavier than it needs to.

The trick is not to eliminate all resistance. It is to identify which kind of resistance is actually shaping the work for the better.
